ACTIVITIES IN 2019

(1) LDH in Pahang

From 23rd until 26th April 2019, the LDH Team together with the Malaysian Dental Therapists Association (Kuantan branch) and Pejabat Pergigian Daerah Kuantan conducted the LDH Program in the district of Kuantan and Bandar Tun Razak. In 4 days, we visited 6 primary schools with the objective to educate the children on the importance of effective oral and dental care practice from young age. A total of 4,171 students ages from 7 to 12 years old and 153 pre-school students were involved with this program.

(2) LDH in Tawau, Sabah

We expand our wings with the objective to nurture the good oral hygiene habits in Tawau, Sabah. The program was held from 16th until 19th July 2019 with cooperation from Pejabat Pergigian Daerah Tawau. Approximately 6,020 students’ ages from 7 to 12 years old from 8 primary school in Tawau were involved with this program.

(3) LDH in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

As a continuation of the journey to the Sabah, once again the LDH team visited Sabah and focusing in Kota Kinabalu district. From 20th until 23rd August 2019, our team managed to conduct the program at 10 primary schools and a total of 10,501 students from standard 1 until standard 6 participated in the program. This program conducted with the cooperation from Malaysian Dental Therapists Association (Sabah branch) and Pejabat Pergigian Kawasan Kota Kinabalu.
